Emigration
Four of the five surviving children of Jean Louis Junod and Cécile
Jutzeler emigrated to the United States. They departed at Le Havre,
France, and arrived at New York City.

Laurent" on September 27, 1882. They would return to Switzerland
before permanently settling in the U.S. at a later date:

The exact
date of immigration for Louis Marc Junod is unknown. He was in
the United States at least since October of 1885, and may have
immigrated as early as 1882.
