Auvernier
Auvernier,
in the French speaking canton of Neuchâtel is the "commune (village)
of origin" of our Junod lineage. The village is
situated in western Switzerland, between the shores of Lake Neuchâtel
and the edge of the Jura Mountains.
The
16th century château d'Auvernier, built by Blaise Junod, is now one
of the village's wine producing industry.
